Breakfast @ Mezes Brighton

We've always been close, even after high school everyone kept in touch. Something that we do on a regular basis is meet up for breakfast in Brighton, so when I got the call this morning I expected it to be like any other breakfast. A few of us couldn’t make it, but if they knew what I know now I don't think anyone would have missed it!

No, I'm not talking about the good food.....

And I'm not talking about the good company...

I'm talking about the fact that Roula was sporting a massive 1 carat diamond on her finger and sprung the suprise that Andre proposed on New Years Eve!! Oh-My-Gosh! Congratulations!!!! The wedding is set to happen before the end of this year!

That now makes 2 engaged girls in the group with Roula & Chrissie the brides to be (is this a sign that we are all growing up!?!?)

Andre & Roula (Taken @ Christina's engagement earlier this year)

Congrats again! This is so exciting!!

The first thing that I thought of when I saw that diamond was "how much did that rock cost...?!?!?!"

I'm so Asian, haha. In case Roula & Andre are reading this - congrats!

when you said "if they knew what I know now I don't think anyone would have missed it!", i thought some startling secret was revealed. As in something not positive. Congrats to your friend Roula.

As Kanye West said in Diamonds are forever: "Diamonds are forever/
They're all I need to please me"!

Hoi: Would have cost a fair bit, but from my conversations with a few guys who have popped the question recently - when the time comes they are more concerned with getting the right stone.

Sarah: Are you next??

Bosco: You just want to be old =P

Ro: Does seem like it! are you trying to tell me something about you an Phil???

Ho: And a nice big one doesn't hurt! hehehe

Matty: I guess in the most recent 3 cases the girls are 23-24 but the guys have generally been a few years older (closer to 30?) so yeh, I don't expect many of my 24-25 yr old male friends getting engaged any time soon. They would probably shoot me if I suggested it!
