Engagement Story

On Sunday Jacky and I attended Joel & Trish's engagement pool party. When they played their engagement DVD I started to tear up! You can read the background to the story here and then watch it all happen here (this is a shortened version of what was shown at the party - make sure you have sound).
*edit - Joel I just watched it and you cut out the best bit at the end with the Brian McKnight song! You have to put that up that's the bit that made me cry.
Congratulations to the both of you, you make such a beautiful couple and when I see couples like you guys it strengthens my belief in love.

yep! i cracked up heaps at the end when I saw that version (I cried the first time in the shortened version).

I also think one of the highlights that is cut in this version was the beginning where cynth goes 'eeeeeee! yeah that's really romantic!'

:P

you're sweet em, and you know we think the same of you! here's to the year (and a bit) ahead!!! :)

which version? what? where?
where can i see the long version?!

geez i really would have thought about more what i was saying/doing/wearing at the time if i had know all of it would be immortalised onto film and video to be preserved until the end of time...

..but in reality i think all of us were too darn cold to really care..

Joel: Never too much mush! hahah after i went home i pulled out all my Brian Mcknight albums and i've been playing them ever since.

Trish: yeh that planning bit at the beginning was good too!

Cynth: i guess you'll just have to wait till you get back. but you looked great as usual...cold though!

Trish: LoL I know i have quite a few lurkers on my blog, some who never say hi or comment ...not really sure they are myself.

haha. does blogspot do subscriptions? i think that's the least of ettiquette....

it would save alot of awkwardness if/when you meet in person....

girls on the internet = 100x more traffic.

joel: no subscriptions but they do now have this setting where i can make the whole blog private and i can select which logins to give access to. I've been thinking about doing it because i've been hesitant to write personal stuff as i don't know who all these readers are. Plus it saves me having to delete my whole blog.
