Beef Stroganoff

Now that Jacky and I catch the train together everyday, I cook lunch for us to take to work the night before. Betty as requested, please find my recipe for beef stroganoff.

Ingredients
400 grams of rump steak, thinly sliced
1 onion
Large bag of mushrooms
1 beef stock cube
2 tablespoons of tomato paste
2 tablespoons of sour cream
1 teaspoon of cornflower
Salt and pepper

- Brown the meat and remove, place in a bowl to rest.
- In the same pot/pan, fry the onions and mushrooms until soft.
- Mix together the tomato paste and beef stock with a cup of water.
- Add the meat and mixture to the onions and mushrooms – cook through for at least 10 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- In a cup mix together cornflower and sour cream and add to the dish 5 minutes before serving.

Sorry for the dodgey pic!

Thanks Ems, I am seriously going to try this tonight! Do you remember Mrs. Westwood's Chicken cacciatore? I have a Brilliant idea, why don’t you make a bigger portion on Saturday and deliver them to me at work? I think its genius.

Betty: I think that you are taking advantage of me!! in the last 3 days you have asked me to piggy back you because you were tired, carry your stuff, refill your drinks and pass you the sauce (when it's right next to you and i was on the other side of the table). You also demanded that I update my blog because you were sick of "A fitting end" Now you want me to cook you lunch?!?!

I'd ask you for a massage to repay me but then i'd run the risk of you squeezing me to death!

Bosco: awwwwhhh? is that a hungry awwwwhhh? or a that's sweet that you cook awwwwhhh ?

I have little limbs so I can move as swiftly as you, plus I've lost my voice (there's a dream come true for many people). I'll give you a massage, does poking your back a couple of times with my index finger count?

Mmmmmmmmmmm! Beef stroganoff is my FAVOURITE dish, and always has been... don't know why, though. Maybe it's my German blood.

I'm hungry just looking at this post. Gah!!!
