as i said you should email them to tell them to give you the credit for that photo!Funny that there were only 2 results from the Australian searches and it appen to be yours heheIf you're using Gallery you should use their watermark plugin to watermark your fotos too.. but since its on blogger/picasa you cant less u watermark it first..
well to be honest i don't actually want to increase the traffic to my site anymore than i currently get. But i guess it's just so random when someone talks of their experience and uses your photo as though it's their own.
Pickles, I just wrote about copyrights on my blog. I wrote the post after reading Chez Pim and how another site stole her review and photos as well. The issue of copyright is going to be a growing problem as a lot of publications and websites can't be bothered doing their own research and steal off other bloggers.
he probably got paid for that article.. maube email UM and notify them that your images are stolen..maybe it'll get you into doing reviews for them and stuff. which woudl be awesome =)
Hit them up for unauthorised usage, make some money and buy me dinner :D
get some royalties for that!
Hey Pickles, if you are interested, poaching material from bloggers is not only happening to you. Have a look at this post by Chez Pim, I think thanh already mentioned it earlier but her's the link. http://chezpim.typepad.com/blogs/2007/06/voncigars_shame.html
Thanh: Yeh I saw that on Chez pim's blog but I just never though it'd happen to me! esp not with a photo from my camera phone.Muz:Hahha I'm still trying to decide if it bugs me enough for me to do something about it.Mingos: speaking of dinner we should catch up!Matt: yeh i wish!jenjen: i love the photos from your blog! Yeh i'm a big fan of Chez Pim and have been following her blog for quite some time....just makes me think what was that person thinking?!? of course they would get caught out sooner or later.
Indeed, I know I keep saying it, but I will organise something..
