Karma

I was really upset yesterday because in the morning I had Jacky’s 4gig Ipod nano on my lap (I bought it for him for our 7.5 year anniversary) and when I got out of the car I dropped it without knowing. By the time we got back to where our car was parked, the Ipod was nowhere to be seen. I felt awful because it had a lot of sentimental value, I even had a special message engraved on the back. With the new house comes a tight budget and we can’t afford to just buy an Ipod whenever we feel like.

This morning Jacky gets an email from one of his mates who asked him if he lost his Ipod. Apparently he heard through a friend of a friend that someone found an Ipod next to a red pug at the station where we live (Matt just happened to know what car I drove). Matt is going to try get it back for us but because he doesn’t know the guy, he doesn’t know if they will be willing to give it back.

I don’t know what’s worse, losing something for good or having someone find it and not be willing to give it back.

*Fingers crossed*

If that guy doesn't give it back, bad karma will come to him. I it will hunt him down and he will drown in it. On the other hand, if he hands it back...a pat on the back is more than enough.

lets just hope its the same one...i'm sure once you know he has it, it wont be hard to coerce him to return it. =)

I hope he'll give it back to you if it is yours. Personally, I would feel really uncomfortable keeping something I found when 1) I know who it actually belongs to and 2) it's got a special message on the back. I mean c'mon! I don't want to be using something with a special message on there for someone else!

Anyway, good luck with it. Apple Store online has got a great deal on refurb ipod minis if you are desperate for an ipod otherwise.

Betty: too bad we don't know who he is. But it's weird because we know that this person would leave near us and walk past where we park our car everyday.

Muz: There's no doubt it's our one that he's found but even our friend who heard about this guy finding the ipod doesn't know who he is.

Hoi: Yeh I hope so..there's still been no news *sigh*

karma will be when - if it is yours and he wont give it back - you get your gang together to retrieve it forcefully. :P that's karma. hahaha

its a good thing you mentioned its sentimental value too, else id be ranting about how you could use the opportunity to buy anything better than an ipod :P

on a serious note, hope it all works out for you. :(

At least there is a trail of breadcrumbs for you guys to try and follow. Don't give up - btw, do you still have the receipt?
