Met one of the strangest candidates today. She arrived at our offices at 8:30am despite her interview being at 12:30. For the next few hours she locked herself in one of our toilet cubicles, sat on the floor and proceeded to scrunch up toilet paper. When my colleagues knocked on her door to ask if she was ok? she ignored them.
Reception later received a call that someone was locked out in the fire escape and they were banging furiously on the door for help. When some one let her out she pushed past them with out a word and headed straight back to the toilet cubicle.
She then rang our office from the toilet cubicle to reschedule her interview to 2:30pm. Eventually she came out at around 12:00pm walked to reception and demanded to see the consultant with whom she had the interview then and there. When she was told that consultant was not available she had a bit of a tantrum. At the interview she sat in the room with these enormous sunglasses on and refused to take them off.

Candidates can definitely make a boring day a little bit more interesting.

Lils, Betty: no she didn't. The funny thing was that she was interviewed by the city office not so long ago and she was fine then...no idea what happened.
