After 1.5 years of being in this job and placing numerous candidates in various roles I finally received my first thank you card.

“Dear Miss Emily,

I can’t express how grateful I’m.
Thanks for your genuine care and great help and efficiency.
You make my prefect full stop to my job-hunting journey.

Lots of Thanks,

That's what they wrote word for word....maybe next time I'll be some one's great exclamation mark!

Thanks guys, I guess it's just nice... we do so much work behind the scenes (I don't think people realise) and the candidates end up with better jobs higher salaries all thanks to our negotiation skills.

This one was a nice win, she was getting pretty ripped off at her old job, to get her an 8k pay increase will do wonders for her life.

Recruitment companies are the best! My friend hooked me up with a really good gig just after my 21st... now he gets free drinks from me whenever we go out...

He's got his own recruiting company, another start up business, still finishing full-time uni, and working full-time at an Rec company in Double Bay - so I know he's a rich bastard with 1001 things to do, but I still try to call him out and buy him all the drinks I can!

It's true sometimes getting where you want to be is all about who you know.

Recruitment is an interesting job, throws a lot of things at you. I seriously believe that a few bad recruitment firms make a bad name for the industry in general.

Did he also make the spelling mistake ("prefect")?
