After 1.5 years of being in this job and placing numerous candidates in various roles I finally received my first thank you card.
“Dear Miss Emily,
I can’t express how grateful I’m.
Thanks for your genuine care and great help and efficiency.
You make my prefect full stop to my job-hunting journey.
Lots of Thanks,
J.”
That's what they wrote word for word....maybe next time I'll be some one's great exclamation mark!

Finally, you get the acknowledgment you deserve!
Congratulations, may there be many more cards, flowers and gold bullion to come!!
hahah.. that's nice, if only it made more sense.
Thanks guys, I guess it's just nice... we do so much work behind the scenes (I don't think people realise) and the candidates end up with better jobs higher salaries all thanks to our negotiation skills.
This one was a nice win, she was getting pretty ripped off at her old job, to get her an 8k pay increase will do wonders for her life.
It's true sometimes getting where you want to be is all about who you know.
Recruitment is an interesting job, throws a lot of things at you. I seriously believe that a few bad recruitment firms make a bad name for the industry in general.
Did he also make the spelling mistake ("prefect")?
oh that seems to be my mistake!
my bad.
