Athens 2004

I can’t bear to watch the swimming! every time I see it I just remember that Ian Thorpe isn’t going to be swimming to defend his 400m title at the Olympics. Yes I know rules are rules but it’s that sick feeling you get in the pit of your stomach.

Ian Thorpe actually lives down my way and I use to see him at Lonestar now and then but I always felt too rude to go ask for an autograph. I would then watch and follow him on TV and ended up feeling like I knew the guy! Silly isn’t it.

Went out with a bunch of friends to have dinner last night and had the best time, with everyone working full time now,it’s a great opportunity to all catch up. We finished the night off at Sarah’s house and we baked her mum a birthday cake, looked and tasted pretty nice!

Good Morning Hudson this is Emily Speaking..

These last two weeks has been a big turning point in my work life and it's been extremely productive. We’ve had a city manager come in to fill my manager’s position while he’s he gone on the mass recruitment drive for our company in the UK. Her presence has made a world of a difference and has given me a lot more structure and direction. I’ve come to realise that I really need to create the opportunities for myself and not worry about what everyone else is doing. Work has suddenly become that much more interesting and challenging.

On Saturday we all went to Mythos at Leichart for Kat’s birthday. That restaurant is absolutely crazy!! We had the wildest time, belly dancers, brazilian dancers in g-strings not to mention a room filled with good looking people! The food was alright too, it’s a set menu and is probably a bit pricy but the atmosphere is well worth it. Everyone has been asking me for the picture and I promise to get them up as soon as I get the chance.

Oh just wanted to throw in...Alex you're a dogass...
